Whether you are simply spoiling yourself or looking for a perfect for your second half is always difficult to find out where to begin when you are in a strange city. Essential polish gift
The best known polish goods abroad is vodka-essential accompaniment to any occasion. In the homeland of this drink you will find the biggest variety on offer: clear, peppared, honey, lemon, cherry or bison vodka. Szambelan is an epicurenian heaven which provide many different kinds of polish old drinks, among them the powerful plum brandy-Śliwowica or whisky coloured Jarzębiak flavoured with rowanberries. All drinks are poured into the stylish bottles in a wonderful atmosphere of interior.
Aside from alcohol, the consumer product most commonly associated with Poland is amber. Local artisans are amongst the best in the world at creating silver rings, bracelets, necklaces, broaches and paper-weight from the resin. All amber lovers will be happy to visit one of the numerous stall in the Cloth Hall or The Amber Chamber at ul. Floriańska.
Odds and ends
Krakow has plenty of cosy shops with character all of there own. The exotic range of odds and ends make it a delight for those on a hunt for something a little bit unusual. Among many enticing things in Naturalny Sklepik you can find a nice pottery as well as a variety of flavoured candles and holders, not to mention soaps and body creams. Residence is a good choice if you are looking for some essential things for kitchen or china set.
The great art and artistic trash in Rękodzieło i Sztuka Ludowa, it is the place which must be seen.
